blow up games

Last night was fun! We had tons of kids in the gym for blow up games, pop, candy and some good times!!!!! :) I was able to mingle and take pictures of the kiddos as well as work at a game, the obstical course...AND....do some amazing face painting! :) of course, when I got home after 10..I was like...so exhausted and took a bath and this morning basically couldn't MOVE!!!!!!!!

Tonight is some WATER games...more food and such....:)

Jamos marched on capital hill...meet with some senators...he is just crazy! This is so fun to hear about..even if it is a like midnight before he gets a break!!! :)

Washington D.C

Greetings, Jamos is in Washington D.C at a conference....called...."Building a covenant for a new america" with speakers like, Tony Campolo, Sharon Watkins, Sen. Barack Obama...so, anyways, I am just so proud of him! His passion and heart for this after returning from Costa Rica is really amazing! I love it when people get an idea or something on their heart and read and study and try to be apart of what they just learned. Today they have 'capital hill day training' and then, they are marching to capital hil...and then, launching the 'covenant for a new america' on capital hill! Then, they spend the day on capital hill, meeting with senators and just being around big people with lots of power!

Life is really busy for me this week, we have BIBLE QUIZ NATIONALS 2006....and well, it is packed!!!!!!!

so, what exactly are the consequences of mold inhalation?! The basement flooded last week and well, it is STILL soaking wet and stinky down here....so...here we sit...high humidity...damp papers everywhere....loud blowers in my ears....i cant talk on the phone, I cant even hear myself think! It is the most distracting of noises.

Jamos is in WASHINGTON DC!!! He is there for a young leaders conference with some big names, like, hillary clinton and others who are fighting towards ending poverty and economic destruction. I am excited for him!!! I just pray that they are safe...and it is raining REALLY bad and is supposed to ALL week...so, I pray that he will get to see D.C and all the attractions w/o rain! And....they are staying in a hostil...and he said on the scale of 1-5 it was a 3....meaning it was REALLY SHADY!!!! So, I pray for safety and fun for him!!!!

Yesterday I watched way too many movies....and just did all that stuff I have been putting off for a while......

When it rains it...FLOODS

Wow, last night, around 4 the sirens were going off....(tornado) the skies turned colors...the wind blew, the rain fell and the power went right off...and we have no lights in the basement (emergancy lights) So, by cell phone light we sat in the conference room waiting the storm out...it let up...we went upstairs, it kept raining and then, we came down to the basement in the dark....and realized there were gazing pools on the FLOOR of my office, and everyone elses office down here. That is when everyone went into panic mode, where we were unplugging things, removing everything from the floor....just clearing it OUT! It was nuts. The rain was coming down so hard...flash flooding was taking place- you coudlnt even see across the street!!

Finally, the rain let up and we left work around 6...when driving, trees were down, cars were in the ditch...it was NUTS!!!! All I have to say is, thank you Jesus, I got home safe and sound. The only annoying thing was my cell phone was being SO STUPID - I had to call out like 21 times to get thru to my mom or Jamos...ARGH. So, I hope that ends today, if not, I am going to the nextel place.

For anyone in a dating relationship, I want to reccomend a book to you..."101 questions to ask before you get engaged" it was an amazing book. The questions are great, thoughtful and yes, you can still learn something about a person you know quite well :) I love it! :)

when it rains it pours

Last night and this morning the rain has just been pouring down! I woke up at 5am and it was thundering SO loud and lightening and such, I am not that excited when it storms...I dont really like the loud thunder and things while I am alone, sleeping in my bed. Kinda scary if you ask me!!!

Well, I am tired...last night, I saw the funniest thing...I got a packaged delivered to my door, that wasnt for me, and I didnt realize it til I opened the package and it was a pack of mens vitamins...and I was utterly confused, until I looked and it was a complete different street and everything....So, I take the vitamins over to this guys door step, thankfully he wasnt home, cause the newspaper was still sitting on his door step as well and then, I saw this HUGE raccoon go into this open garage...then, a little CAT followed the coon into the garage!!!! HOW CRAZY?! They were friends. I felt like I was in a disney movie where the cats and racoons are working together to form a more perfect world or something!!

It was funny.

Oh, I spent too much money at the grocery store last night AND...talked to JAmey, except NEXTEL SUCKS!!!! and we got disconnected like 97234 times.

a wonderful life (weekend!)

Where do I start?! I had an excellent weekend! It was wondeful!! Spent time with my family, Jamos' family, enjoyed my boyfriend...he took me on basically 2 days of dates, which was so FUN!!!! We spent time at the beach, took me putt putt golfing, a suprise trip to the pier to eat some ice cream on a blanket and watch the sunset...and on the walk out there there was a HEART shaped puddle!!! It was awesome!!!!!! I mean, duh. We went to the beach again, played in the water, shopping in downtown South Haven and St. Joe...church, batting cage fun times, eating outside on a boat, going to the movies with free popcorn and pop! I mean, seriously, it was a wonderful weekend!!!! I hope you can get the 'gist' of it from the photos. I love Jamos Mitchell.

So, my new hobby is MOSIACS!! They are lovely and beautiful and now I am going to start making them! :) So, that is fun for me! Last night I worked on my mosiac mirror for a while and had a good time doing such a thing. I love just sitting and being creative, thinking and using the part of your brain that gets neglected. I love it. So, that is what I did...then, I packed and got ready to see my BOYFRIEND cause tonight I am going over there for fathers day weekend and such...so, that shall be a great time! I hope I get to go swimming at the beach!!! That would be a lot of fun too!!!!! And...what else? I dont know...but, today was a really busy day! We had a registration day with all these kids and now they are signed up for classes.

Relationships are the most amazing beautiful creation, yet, they require SO much time, energy, patience, understanding, laughter and love. Most of these traits I am still aquiring daily and continue to strive to please the people I love with all of my heart.

Kentucky Blue Grass!

Wow, what fun we had this past week as an office! Drove down to KY, stopped along the way in OHIO and we got to canoe down the 'white water river'...that was a blast...and I got a little wet after my BOSS tried to flip Rob and I out of the canoe...
We ate at cracker barrel and sat in the rockers...one we looked sad, the other happy! :) It was a really good time...bonding time with all the newbies! :)

fun times up north!

Wow, more than a week has passed and it feels so short, yet so long! I love being on vacation. It is the BEST! I love sleeping late, getting up and just going for a bike ride, out in the boats, playing in the yard, eating good crazy vacation kinda food that you wouldnt normally eat...swinging on the swing and just 'being' looking at birds and plants, just relaxing!!! It is awesome!!!!!!!! I will post some pictures here and you can see all about it! :)

But, now I am back at work, my mom is up north and jamos is home with his family, tomorrow we leave for KY for the annual conference we go to! It should be really fun with the office and being w/ all these people! :)
