First let me start off by saying I HAVE A BODY GUARD. If anyone plans on stalking me or giving me attention that I don't want...YOU SUCK. I know that people reading this aren't stalkers..but I just had yet another stalker experience today. How many times does a person have to say to another person, "YOU FREAK ME OUT LEAVE ME ALONE" before the person actually leaves me alone??? Apparently MANY cause this guy just doens't get it.
I am one sea monkey shy of getting a restraining order against this guy and I am not even kidding. Seriously. I don't understand.
This guy calls me AT WORK and thru a lady who types what I say (this guy is deaf by the way) he asks me to go out to have coffee with him on Saturday. HECK NO. After a million times of givigin him more than the shaft, I tell him I am dating someone and even if I wasn't I wouldn't date HIM. He kept asking WHY and WHO and all this crap. I said, IT DOESNT MATTER. I want you to leave me alone. Boy did that feel good. He said that this was the 'final goodbye' so, stalker person- LEAVE ME ALONE and I hope that it was your final goodbye. ARGH!

snotty
HaHa. That is a sick sounding title. But, I am pretty snotting today, meaning I am fighting off a cold of some sort. Maybe something to do with my sinus' and this crazy weather. Who knows.
I am drinking some good green tea and that should make me feel even BETTER!!
Yippee!

hotness
So, something is up with my body! I keep getting like hot flashes (not really, but something like that) and I start sweating like no other and feeling really strange. I had to come to work today cause we have lots of visitors and apparently being sick in this job just doesn't work. :( So, I am trying the day out! Hopefully all will be well. I dont have a temperature...but I did bring my therm. just in case!
Thats all I can think to say!

Easter Weekend
Wow. I had a great weekend! A much needed great weekend! :) I went to St.Joe/Coloma to spend some time with my grandma, uncle don, dad and step mom. I was SO dreading going there....sometimes things just don't go well...but, after a LOT of prayer and confidence boosters from my mother, the weekend went extremly smooth!
I left friday morning and stopped to shop in k-zoo and then got to town, hung out with my dad and then went to my grandma's for our birthday celebration for my uncle and I guess Easter dinner. I was a tad bummed cuase I asked if I could bring a friend and my grandma freaked out and said NO which was annoying to me...but she is just protective of my uncle and his situation...BUT anyways, the food was great and I got to play games with my uncle and my grandma and that was fun. My dad also got a new truck...amazing. He has satelite radio and all these neat additions to the truck. I was lucky enough to drive it home!! yippee! Then I went to the movies with someone cool enough to hold my hand and his parents...we saw ROBOTS which was REALLY funny!!!
Saturday I woke up and was like..hmm.. no one is home...so I sat around and waited for something to happen AND THEN I decided to make something happen!! I got in my car and drove around looking for something to do...i wanted to walk on the beach- but not really wanting to do that alone...and so I went downtown St. Joe and bought some cool stuff and ran into some old friends and ended up going out to lunch and then getting a manicure with my step mom and THEN going to the box factory to see this really neat photo exhibit...called 2 cities, 48 hours. That was awesome. THEN going to walk on the beach with my dad and a cute boy. That was fun and really cold, but I really wanted to jump in the water. It looked so clear and inviting!!
Then we had a night out on the town with my dad and barb....and the evening ended with a little "Iron Chef" action. Very fun.
Sunday...(do you like this play by play?) I got up at 7 am (I wasnt planning on still being in Coloma) and ate some interesting pancakes and left the house in order to be back to J-town in time for church and lunch at the country club. I made great time on I-94 cause there was like no traffic OR cops...:) Then I got to church and went out to eat with Jamey and the President of SAU and his way cool family. That was fun. GREAT food and much better than eating alone at my house....
I got home in time to take a nap, read the news paper and then have some nice company and some random sunday night tv shows. I even got an easter basket out of the deal!! ;) It was a GREAT weekend!!!

mcdonalds
I stopped at the golden arches this morning for a decaf coffee with 2 creamers and 2 splenda's. Some people ask, "what is the point of drinking coffee without caffiene?" and well, when I flavor my coffee with all the good stuff, it just is warm and comforting even thought I cannot drink coffee straight, black. SICK.
I also had a very hard time sleeping last night. I was taken with a sinus headache in the middle of the night, but luckily I was able to be awake enough to go take something for it. And that seemed to really help. ARGH.
It is sunny out today!! Praise the LORD!! :)
"She's got me rolling dirt in a white t-shirt breaker breaker 19 she's a big ole flirt" I really like that song by Josh Gracin....HAHA

oygen
How come people yawn when they are having a lack of oxygen...is it JUST a loss of oxygen OR is it because I am getting tired too. Who knows. But, I seriously can't stop yawning and it is making my eyes water.
Talk. Another thing that I am thinking about lately is how much our mouths can get us in trouble. I can hear some people talking and they are talking about someone/people...and I know I struggle with my mouth and speaking things that aren't always nice. But I wonder what the world would be like if we never talked about other people and their faults..only about the great things they do or are or are about to do...AND Another thing that hurts is how other people interprit our actions and comments.
I mean, sometimes we just think we are being awesome by being kinda rude to someone, but we may hurt them forever....Guard your mouth people.
And watch my mouth eat this HUGE rueben sandwhich from the Ella Grainery in Jackson! DANG! That was really good!!! YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!!!!!

Gray Skies of Spring Arbor
Life is so funny. I don't get it and I really should stop trying to figure it out. The more I try to figure out life, let alone, myself, the more confused I get. I think that is probably why people say, "today is a gift..." there is more to that quote, but for the life of me I can't remember what it says. HA. So, I need to live more in the moment, but that is REALLY hard especially cause I am an anxious person by nature.
It is only 8am and I have my candle lit in my office. It looks like it is 5 o'clock outside and I really want a diet coke.
I forgot to update about the auction I went to last Friday night! I put a bid on a COUCH for $700. It was from Vermulen Furniture in J-town, which is a pretty good place to get furniture from..BUT, just as I thought I was going to get it (meanwhile i was freaking out about how to get it home, I didn't even drive myself to the auction, I carpooled) someone else put a bid on it for $750. The next highest bid would have to be $800 and I read the price tag on the couch and it was $799....in the brochure they said it was worth like $1200.00 WHATEVER auction people. So, I didn't spend any money as earlier anticipated. I did bid on a few other things, but I got outbid each time. Silent auctions are a lot of fun. :) The food was okay...and nothing highly embarrasing happened to me, which is the BEST part of the whole thing.

white pants
that was just really funny. This lady who works in our building walked in from outside and said, "Look out your window" and I gasped. I thought she was talking about the sun shining...but no, she said, "that lady is wearing white pants before memorial day" HAHA. Funniness.
My co-worker Ben just got back from a missions trip to Puerto Rico! He is all tan and looks tropical!
Last night I went to the mall to drop off my film at Ritz camera (they have really good film developin) and then to run errands at meijer. I got 9.20 in pop bottle returns....that means I had 92 bottles in my apartment. DANG. I think I gained square footage by returning those suckers. Well, I went back to Ritz an hour later and got my 'disk' now...I am a little disturbed by this, it is 6.99 to get a CD that comes with a very small index print...they add on a 2.00 service fee?? So, it was 9.99 for a DISK. To get double prints it is 9.99 so I dont know what I like better. Disk or pictures??? SO CONFUSING AND EXPENSIVE.

printers
Printers. Printing pictures. Photo Paper. Printer INK. All of that is so confusing and I really dont know what I want to do...get a printer or continue to print pictures and stuff from an outside source? Hmm. Technology really annoys me and makes me in a bad mood so the less I have to worry about it, the better!
Well, I am off to town from work...to the grocery store and then to Ritz camera. Yippee.

toledo
Well, I went on a small road trip to Toledo to see my friend Kim and to shop in the good mall they have there and to eat at Panera Bread- one of my favorite restaurants. It is nice to get away sometimes. To feel like you are actually doing something different in life. That in itself was marvelous and the other marvelous thing was that we bought baby clothes for her baby which I got to feel moving around in her belly!! AMAZING. We watched the 'Miricle of Birth' off of the discovery channel. That was amazing. I keep using that word, but it all really is amazing. Now, since I am going to be "Auntie Em" we had to buy a really cute outfit that the baby will come visit me in! :) So, we went to Baby Gap and had a grand ole time!!
We also had an expenisive adventure into The Body Shop. One of my favorite stores. Once again, I spent a lot, but now I got this card and I get 10% off everytime I buy something and get free stuff and I got $10 off for it being my BIRTHDAY MONTH!! :) It was sweet.
Yesterday I laid around and relaxed. I figure that is what Sundays are supposed to be like. Sure, it would have been slightly more fun if I was having a BBQ with friends or taking a walk in the park with my dog (that I dont have) BUT I will just go with the flow and with what life offers me now...and enjoy it.
Man, another soldier was killed in Iraq from Michigan. It is so sad. :(
Well, today should be a good day...I have a visitor which makes the day go quickly...

green tea with red antioxidants
I just had some green tea with red antioxidants...very healthy. :) I am all about the health. That is why I am eating pepperoni pizza for lunch! :)
Today is ticking by slowly. Tonight we are going to this auction for a local high school. It is a pretty formal deal and we have to dress up...Hopefully I will meet some cool people! It makes things fun if you can meet new and interesting peeps. I am leaving my check book at home though....
Everyone just left for lunch and here I sit. It is never a good sign when your co-workers leave for lunch and don't invite you til the last minute. But, I brought pizza and they are going to eat at the pizza place...So, I will just save my money and go to the library across the street for my lovely lunch break.

gerbil
I was thinking this morning in the shower...and you know how sometimes the most random memory will hit you and make you laugh? Well, I all of a sudden remembered how my friend Katie had her dead gerbil FROZEN in the FREEZER at her house. Even at the age of 6 I knew that was odd. But, I thought of it this morning and it made me laugh and wonder if I would freeze my childs pet rodent if they wanted me to....
I also remembered the time we were sitting backwards on her moms antique chairs and falling foward onto the ground and my knee went thru the back wood panel on the chair and that was NOT good since it was an antique. :) I think we were forbidden to see eachother for a while after that...
Never knew I got in so much trouble did ya? :)
Today is FRIDAY!!! I am so excited. I don't know exactly what my weekend plans are going to be, but hopefully something exciting and fun. I am feeling restless and really wanting to fly somewhere and do something different. I checked out Atlanta and North Carolina. Today I will check out flights to Vegas and see if my mom wants to go there....I would have loved to go to Death Valley to see the largest bloom of wildflowers in a century. That must be so beautiful. All kinds of wildflowers with mountains in the background...GLORIOUS!

body shop delivery
Wow. I love smelly things. Good smelly things of course. Today everything people ordered from my body shop party came delivered to my office and it smells SOOO GOOD!! I love lotions and potions and I really do love body shop products! They make my skin feel good and the scent and softness lasts all day long!
This morning I also got my little ceaser pizza kit and cinnamin bread delivered from the fundraiser deal I ordered from. I had a fun time ordering fundraiser things this year. I went a little out of control. But, it is fun and easy and I dont have to go shop for it. I just order it from some little kid! :)
My calendar today says, "Forget love...I'd rather fall in chocolate" that is so funny!!

Nothing without Joy
Today I got a LOT of spam email in my in box. It is such a bummer. I open my email with such great anticipation...I see that I have 16 new messages (or something along those lines) and I eagerly scan the emails, searching for a familiar name. Nothing. "Home owners buy vinyl siding at 1/2 off" or "US Grants" it is sad. Then within like 2 minutes I have gone thru my entire email and realized I have nothing. :( Now, I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me or send me a lot of silly emails (well...maybe you can send me some emails...) but, I just wanted to talk about my morning routine of disappointment.
Today is TUESDAY. The sun is out again, I love driving to work and having to wear my sunglasses. It is marvelous.
Well, I am out of wonderful things to say...in fact, I doubt any of this was worth reading due to its lack of wonderful, but whatevvvv.

checking things off
I came to work today with a LOT of things to do. I made a list and things are getting crossed off like NO OTHER! It really is amazing. I love it. I feel so productive. I am not usually a procrastinator- but all of this was NEW stuff that I had never done, like cancel my credit card (long story) and order checks and call pfizer inc., Stuff I had never done. So I was putting it off. I put things off that scare me. But, today was the day. I was sick of them weighing on my shoulders. Get off my back you monkey! Thats what I told them. (or something) And now everything is crossed off that needed to get done today. :) SWEET!!! LOVE IT!
I also love that I am wearing a new shirt that I got this weekend. It is a peachy color and reminds me of warmer weather and we all know how much I like warmer weather. I also decided to go to the Vera Bradley show in Ft. Wayne. I am proud of myself for that.....more later. gotta go.

March 14
Today is March 14th. It is a Monday. The weekend went by REALLY fast. REALLY fast. I don't even think the weekend HAPPENED.
Saturday was fun. I went to my friends birthday party and then ran a bunch of errands around town...chatted on the phone with a cute boy...
Sunday I went to church and to my friend Jameys house. She made me lunch! :) I love it when she cooks. She is really good at it. Then we napped and went to Walmart. Then I came home and made REALLY GOOD banana bread!!!! And I made it all low fat!! I used applesauce instead of oil- and I didnt even know how to do that- I just DID it!! It was awesome. And it tastes really good!!! YIPPEE!!
And here I am...another day at work...another Monday. BUT, here is the inspiration, "Make the most of yourself...for that is all there is of you."

Norah Jones
I love her music. She is amazing. It calms my soul. I could listen to her all day long. Every day.
Last night was fun. For once I didn't go to bed at like 9pm. I was actually up until 2am. Yea, never a good idea when you have to be up at like 6:45am. I am a little tired this morning, but I have fun things to think about to keep me going thru the day.
I think I am pretty fickle person. I change my mind a lot...back and forth..back and forth. Different ideas that seem new and amazing one day...suddenly the next day seem stupid...I don't understand myself. I want to be challenged. I want to admire. I want to respect. I want to love. But, I don't know why it seems so hard for me to do such acts. Maybe it is because of my fickleness. Maybe it is God. Maybe I am not ready for such amazing things and need to have more growing/learning experiences before I can experience those feelings to their fullest.
I don't know. I am just typing as the words pop into my head. BUT, last night was fun. I cooked chicken with my new meat thermometer...yea, it DOESN'T WORK. The temp hardly changes...so, we braved the chicken and I am still here at work today feeling fine. :) yippee!!
Let's talk about hugs. I read somewhere that a person needs like 10 hugs a day or something...I think I get about ....3 on average. Last night I had a great hug. Just wanted to hang on...never let go...

10:02
I always look at the clock at 10:02. AM or PM it doesn't matter. But, I think it is funny because I was born at 10:02....and maybe I just always know to look at the clock realizing I am another day older? Or 12 hours older than the last time I looked at the clock?
I have nothing profound to write today. I am almost blogged out.

joy of the Lord
So, I am trying really hard to remember to keep the joy of the Lord. To not get frustrated when people are lazy. I am trying really hard to remember I struggle just as much as others in different areas. In my scrap book from my freshman year of college I have this certificate made by our chaplain Ron and it says something along the lines of being a 'fellow struggler' and I think it is really corny- but I have always kept it because I am a struggler. I am only human and I mess up and do things wrong all the time. My fear is hurting others. Not to say that I am a people pleaser, but I have slight people pleaser tendancy. I would rather say yes and be mad about it later than to just decline and be at peace with my decision. Life really is all about learning and learning to know myself is just as interesting as reading a good book. :) Today I want to be at the beach, taking photographs and picking up shells or rocks. I want it to be warm. I want to wear flip flops and eat ice cream. I want to watch a sunset. I want to laugh and play in the grass.
Well, I will get my head out of the clouds and back to this day. This freezing cold day. I don't have much for lunch. I brought an apple and cheez-its. I have jelly beans I can munch on, but I think I will splurge later for a 3:00 lunch because I am working until 8 tonight...that shall cover me.

forget it
Man. I keep forgetting things. I don't know why and I don't like how I remember at the oddest of times, like, driving to work or sitting at my desk or in the shower. Times when I can't really turn around and go back to get it OR rewind the day to earlier when I can actually remember something.
I learned things last night. It feels good to come thru with a break thru in life. I had an 'ahhh HA' moment. Where I suddenly see things clearly. I don't always know what to do with the information once I see it- but at least I feel relieved to know.
Time to start another day at work. It is Wednesday. Yeehaw. :) Not sure what the day will bring, but the sun is out and I am feeling good. I just ate cottage cheese for breakfast (yea, sick) and am drinking some green tea with cranberry. :)

Time to start another day at work. It is Wednesday. Yeehaw. :) Not sure what the day will bring, but the sun is out and I am feeling good. I just ate cottage cheese for breakfast (yea, sick) and am drinking some green tea with cranberry. :)

fake poop
This morning we were allowed to come to work at 10. Well, being on schedule, I woke up around 7:30- unable to sleep in- and got ready...watching some morning news, drinking my coffee (decaf of course) and getting all my ducks in a row before leaving the house. I still had an hour before I needed to be at work...so I went to Target and got some FAKE POOP and a fake roach that oozes green guts AND this sticky tongue. HAHAH. I put the fake poop in the bathroom and scared Jamey with the sticky nasty tongue. :) I love stupid stuff like that. Last night I ran some errands and came home and cleaned up my birthday which was all over the floor:) I trimmed the bottoms of my 2 beautiful bouquets of flowers and changed their water so they will last extra long. I washed a LOT of dishes and realized that Macaroni and Cheese REALLY sticks to the pan if you don't wash it right away.
I was in a funk yesterday. Post birthday let down I think. Now I am just 25 and the only good thing about it is- I can say I am 25 and don't have any cavities!
It is marvelous to hear what a person loves about you. Sometimes you just don't know what they like or don't like about you. Well, I should say ME. Cause I am talking about me...and I am not a mind reader- so how am I to know what I do they like or what I do they find repulsive. Ya know? It is refreshing to be told. It is a boost of confidence. And it allows you to see deeper into the person telling you these things. It is nice.
It is sunny out!! YIPPEE!! The weather is freezing, but it is SUNNY.
Oh, look at this...I just changed my calendar for today- "How we think shows through in how we ACT. Attitudes are mirrors of the mind. They reflect thinking."

'Eight Hours Day'
It is Eight Hours Day in Australia. I bet they celebrate with town wide parties and do nothing for 8 hours. I bet they don't even have an 8 hour work day. Oh well. The visit day is mostly over. It was fun. I am wearing my new red shoes and they are mostly comfortable but not THAT comfortble. I would say they are 4 hour shoes as well. I have started a new trend of labeling my shoes- 8 hour shoes, 2 hour shoes- that helps in the morning with what shoes to choose.
I finally was able to download my photos from this weekend. I don't know why it took so long to work- but I adjusted some settings like a computer nerd and it works! :) Amazing.
I got caught in a rain storm today while taking visitors to their classes. That was crazy. They say it is going to get VERY cold tonight but today has been rather mild. I love it.

25
I am 25. I feel pressure now! I am almost 30. Am I doing all the things normal 25 year olds do? I had a nice birthday weekend. My dad and step mom and grandma came up on Saturday and we had lunch and opened gifts. I got 2 meat thermometers so I will be cooking meat as safe as I can. and I also got a large stuffed dog....from my grandma....i mean, it is life size. The best part is- she got it from the hospital gift shop!! haha. I am trying to download my pictures from this weekend but they aren't downloading...which is sad. I don't really understand.
The body shop party was also lots of fun!! We soaked our feet and bought a LOT of beauty products!! :) I love that. I love smelly stuff. and I ate the rest of my birthday cake that I made at like 7 am on Saturday. I had to work yesterday at our senior expedition...I had my birthday dinner with my prospective students...:) They are fabu....and I went home and at like 1/2 of my cake. Whatever. I am 25, I can do that. I also tried to put the new tag on my car...but iIripped the sticker in half. So, I hope that is okay...:) sorry officer.
The day after my birthday I always have birthday let down. It is like, all the attention and love from the 'days' is GONE and you are just left sitting with the dishes to do and gift wrap to throw away.
And now...here we go on another year....yippee!

birthday blessings
wow. I really am loved. I dont know why it takes a birthday to realize that..but...at least I have realized it today. Last night I came home around 8:30 from the career center college fair deal- that was really fun! I took my intern, Marcy and we set up a display but also got to enjoy the career center. They had baby lambs!! We got to pet those and I ran into a few applicants and signed a girl up for senior expedition this weekend, anyways!! Oh, I also saw some of my cool ROTC kids. They are great!! Such chivalry (can't spell it) Yea, ask me about it :)
Now, I get home at like 8:30 and I walk into my house and nearly fall up the stairs and see a big balloon that says, "Happy Birthday" and then there are streamers EVERYWHERE and I can't get into the house to turn the light on cause of all the streamers. So funny. Then, i finally get in and see a huge bouquet of beautiful flowers and candy and a card:) Very marvelous. And a nice suprise!
THEN while on the phone with this person who decorated my apartment, Jamey walks in with a very interesting b-day gift....and that is all I can say about that! :) THANKS CRAZY GIRL!!
AND THEN....(I know, i have cool people in my life) I get to the office this AM and my office is decorated HARD CORE- balloons, streamers pictures of me ALL over an amazing card with lots of pictures of me and Krista telling the story of emily:) AND a microphone since I really like talking on microphones....:) and lots of money all over the office! (fake money of course!) MARVELOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am loved. Thank you.

gerber daisies
My mom just sent me the biggest bunch of gerber daisies for my birthday!!! They are beautiful and spring like. I love them. Thank you mama duck.
sunshine
Well, it is below zero this morning BUT the sun is shining. It is so bright, there were times in my commute that I really could not see. I think it is still having an affect on my eyesight as I type this. Some of you are thinking, "why not wear some sunglasses?" well, this is a great idea, and i had sunglasses in the car...with the LENS popped out and sitting on the seat next to me. I tried as best I could to drive and put the lens back in...but that was getting dangerous and becoming a lost cause, so I just took the plunge of burning my retnas as I drove to work. :)
I went shopping last night and I got 2 new pairs of pants! Well, 1 pair I already have the exact same pair of, but i figure, long, black pants, i need those...that justifies my need for 2 pairs...AND I got 3 pairs of SHOES!!! All the same style...in red, blue and black!! They were SO cheap. I got 3 pairs for 1/2 the price of the regular, non-sale price! :) Hey, I have a tall body and big feet...when I find things I buy them!! :)
Oh, but let me tell you about my annoying experience at JC Pennys. I get to the counter and there is a girl on the phone, taking a catalog order...then another lady comes over to the cash register and she starts ordering these size 10 petite pants for this other lady....WELL...i am thinking....HELLO!? no one even acknowledged that I was there...was I in the catalog ordering part of the store? NO. Then a line began to form...5 minutes passed...STILL no one said ANYTHING, like, "Thanks for waiting, I will be with you in a moment" OR "I can ring you up really fast since it takes 2 minutes to do that" So, I took my stuff to the opposite end of the store to the other customer service station...where a man was returning a LOT of clothes but forgot something in the car, so the girl in front of me got to try to get her outfit. Well, there was a problem with the sale price of the pants...so, they had to call the manager over... in the mean time, it became my turn...and in all the waiting, I saw that the bottom of the pant leg had some dirt on it- that I would be able to get out when I washed it- but why the heck would I want to buy something with dirt on it already? So, I tell this lady that "in all my waiting, I noticed some dirt on the pants" and she says, "I dont wash the clothes" and I am like...."ok?" so me and the girl with the other pants/clearance issue look at eachother like, why are we even shopping at this store? And then she goes, "well, I can give you an extra 10% off" and I was like, "ok" thinking, YOU STUPID WOMAN!!! The manager comes over and as she is leaving, my purchase was made...and I followed after her saying I needed to talk to her...in the mean time all the people who were in line at the 'catalog ordering part' of the store were behind me again in this new line...
I told her that I had been waiting and waiting without acknowledgement to make a purchase...it felt good. YES! Talking to management always makes my day empowered. Try it.

the smell of winter
All day yesterday and last night we got a lot of snow....Last night I was taking out the trash and I walked out the door and the smell of winter hit me. I love this smell. It is like fresh....cold.....winter. I love it. It reminds me of sledding and making snow angels...of taking walks with my dad on the trails at his house.
Man! I am so hyper today!! I drank green tea with jasmin...and it was really good BUT...it has a teeny tiny bit of caffeine....and since I don't drink caffeine, it is NUTS!!! :)

large cheese pizza
I have eaten within 24 hours 1 large cheese pizza. I really like pizza. I like cheese. Put the 2 together and that is PERFECT! :) It is lunch time and I decided I can blog on my lunch break...
The snow is falling round here. We got like at least 3 inches. "I think we're alone now...there doesn't seem to be anyone around...running just as fast as we can..holdin on to one anothers hand..." I love that song! It reminds me of when I was like 10 and me and my friend Katie would stand on her corner and sing this song on to the passing cars..and do all the motions....we were very cool. It's a wonder we didn't get kidnapped.
Have you ever done something that was so scary...you had no idea how it would turn out- but it was obvious this was the only option? I did that yesterday. Honestly really is the best policy...in any situation in life....work...relationships...anything! Honesty is always best. I like that. And I am glad that it all worked out. :) It feels like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders.
I am having a '5 days til your 25th birthday' crisis. Today I parted my hair on the OTHER side and I am wearing like bright pinkish lip GLOSS. It is funny. oh well. I guess we are all entitled to our crisis' :) And this day is mine! I decided to part my hair on the other side because I am afraid I will get a bald spot if I keep parting it in the same spot...can that happen???
So, every Monday night for like 2 months, I have sat in front of the tv watching "The Bachelorette" waiting to see who she would pick. Well, last night was like the 3 hour finale....I stayed up LATE to watch this proposal. NOTHING. She is NOT engaged. She wasted my time!! All that watching and hoping for LOVE and she didn't even want either of them. My personal pick was John Paul. He was smart, settled, financially stable...he knew what he wanted and was proactive about getting there...he was in control but not controlling Jen...he was respectful of her parents and friends...said his please and thank yous. I liked that. I like those qualities a LOT. I liked how they could just be in each others presense and be comfortable. I am sad that she didn't pick him. :( Oh well. He even picked out and upgraded the already LARGE diamond for the engagement. Silly girl. But, it is better to be alone than to be with the WRONG person.
There is a house for sale in the same neighborhood that I found that OTHER house..and this one is in my price range....hmmm. decisions.
Saturday night I get to go to a trail blazer dinner here on campus with the former Buc's coach, Tony Dungee!!! My mom loves him and so I am excited to be in his presence!! :)
Well, here is my "ME" (mary englebreit) thought for the day,
"Go CONFIDENTLY in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined."
