burrrrrrr...

Baby it is cold outside!!!! Talk about a deep freeze...geesh! It is freezing outside- and I have a cold on the inside, so it needs to be warmer in one or the other or BOTH! :)

I am feeling better today- I have probably gone thru an ENTIRE box of tissues, my nose is seriously a faucet...I can't even explain it- but it is nuts. I went to town with my friend Jennie, we had lunch at Culvers- YEAH for butter burgers!!! and we went to kohls, looked at hamsters for her son lane, and then, stopped at polly's on the way home- I wanted to get something to make my BF a present for V-day! :)

And, now I am home, just made macaroni and cheese and used some nasal spray I bought for jamos- it is amazing, it cleared my nose...for at least like, 2 minutes now!

I have no plans for the night-I am going to relax...take good care of myself and pray that the weater isnt horrible when I have to drive to Lansing tomorrow night...for a superbowl party at a church there...

mommy, i dont feel good

Pretty soon, instead of running to my mommy, i will have to run to my husband, who i know will be wonderful when I am sick. It all started with a scratchy throat...tired...head ache... I slept a lot...and called in sick to work for a bit...then, after feeling bad about not being there- (we had a BPR meeting for 3 hours on the calendar) and, so, I went in for about an hour and 30 minutes...just enough to get ready for the weekend...Sunday I am working at a bridal show (maybe..) and for sure doing a super bowl party at a church in lansing...

So, I had to get things around for that...and just make sure everything was under control- which it was. Of course, why do I fret? No idea.
I came home and felt horrible driving- like I couldnt open my eyes, yet, they were running wtih water, my throat feels like I have an elephant in me and my body aches slightly- I do have a slight fever and wish that I wasnt home alone- so that someone could baby me and take care of me...so much better. I slept, and ate peaches and ice pops...and, continue to nest on the couch! This is going to be a long night.........

Happy Engagement Coffee!

My friends Lauren and Carrie took me to starbucks this morning to celebrate a happy engagement! It was so sweet. They sang me a song and talked about the sparkles in the snow as the sparkle on my ring, the white dress and the beautiful water! :) So sweet. And, what a joy to be reminded of the fact that I am engaged. Jamos and I went to engaged encounter this weekend, it was fabulous...very intense, but wonderful. A lot of talking, discussion and getting everything out on the table. It was a huge blessing- if anyone is in a serious relationship- engaged or not, i encourage you to take part in this weekend. Jamos and I both came away from the weekend refreshed in the fact that we are in love- we know each other and have the same goals for our families, our lives, our children, etc., It was a huge blessing for our relationship! :)

beach house...and chester..

As a side job, Jamos and I are willing to dress up as chester the cheetah and take turns inside a costume...during the opening day of a WALMART!!! :) What we do for some extra honeymoon money! :)

This is WEKO beach where Jamos and I are getting married. The picture is taken on the deck- they have a mile of 'board walk' around the beach area- which will be fun, but it surrounds the beach house- where our reception will be! Just picture no snow...flowers...sunshine...and a bride and a groom who are VERY excited!!! :)

fast paced

I am living a fast pace life here lately, last night was nice and relaxing, I actually got to watch the newest addition of Gilmore Girls- very good episode...I love that show- and I knitted the whole time....not a very good 'knit' but I knitted none the less. :)

Life is good- I had a very busy weekend, Jamos and I saw the location of where our wedding and reception will be...awesome. Perfect. Beautiful. I am so excited. This whole process is really just falling into place....and I can only praise the Lord for that. Because he has been guiding our steps...obviously if we look back from when we met and how this whole relationship started...it is all pretty amazing and 'against all odds' and the Lord just continued to strengthen us.

This weekend we also dressed as Chester the Cheetah and did a gig down in Indiana- the grand opening of a walmart down there- it was pretty fun. I will try go get some photos on here....We attended a bridal show...saw our families....just did an abudance of things...and now, i am finally posting and it is Wednesday- who cares about a weekend when it is already wednesday!! :)
