I have been very bad about updating this...Things are good- this weekend shall be wonderful, Jamos and I are working as Chester the Cheetah this weekend down in South Bend...to make some extra money for the honeymoon!!! :)
We are also checking out the beach house for the wedding/reception...which shall be wonderful I am sure, as our parents have already gone to check it out and my grandma thought it was perfect! So, we can only trust that it will be perfect for our special day! :)
We are also going to a bridal expo and hopefully we shall win some prizes!!! :)
This weekend is going to fly by, but I can't wait to see Jamos!

wedding dress shopping!
Wow, last night, I went WEDDING DRESS SHOPPING!!! Totally crazy that I, Emily Starke got to try on dresses for MY wedding!!! Ridiculous!! I had a great time, it is really hard to decide, but I know when I find the perfect dress, it will be perfect! :) And, along the way it is just fun to try them on and look beautiful! :)
So, this has been fun, but I am really looking forward to just spending time with Jamos this weekend. We need time together to just talk and "be" without running around for the holidays!!! I know we will have fun, and we can figure some of this wedding stuff out as well! We have big decisions to make in the future and so, pray together with us, that the Lord will open and close doors while leading us to the right thing. :) Thank you! :)

Engaged...
Finally I am able to post on my blog that I am engaged....I have the 'gist' of the story, which I will post here...so you can read about how it happened, etc.,
here is the 'gist' of it....
I was on the plane, waiting to depart from the gate in south bend after my dad dropped me off...I look thru the window...to see who else is getting on.,..B/c there is an empty seat next to mine....
I see this guy...he is cute....
And, as the boy gets on the plane, I realize it is JAMOS and he is sitting NEXT TO ME!!!!!!!! He disguised himself....hat...hair in a pony tail...new clothes...newspaper... I am in shock...he says, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! Because, I had been wanting him to come to Florida FOREVER!!!!
Then, basically in Florida, my mom has a big party- Jamos meets everyone in my family.....
day 2....
breakfast at the beach...off to ft. Desoto to walk on the beach, look for shells, we rented this canopy bike and rode around the fort.../beach....it was really fun....then, off to my house to take showers before getting on this boat to watch the sunset....(sailboat) I showered and put on this new dress that I had gotten while I was in Michigan...
Then, we go off to the boat- Jamos is telling me to go get chips and all this random stuff...but when really he was praying for the boat , and getting things ready...
We get on the boat....it is gorgeous....a huge 41 foot sailboat...Jimmy Buffet is playing in the background and...Captain Barry is taking us out to sea....
We see Dolphins....I am taking pictures and just as I look at Jamos he is giving me a bracelet box....and says, that he didn’t give me all of my Christmas presents yet....and so I open the box, thinking it is a bracelet- and it is a saying from my mary englebriet calendar...."when you find the one you want to spend the rest of your life with you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible" :) And, I look up at him, and he is down on 1 knee with my DREAM RING in his hand and asked me to marry him!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!
....prayed together and watched the end of the sunset and had a beautiful boat ride back to mainland!! :)
