All done!

MarriagePrep is all done! It went WELL. I am thankful. After I got home last night, I took a quick 30 min nap, and then, Jamos and I went to see the movie, JULIE AND JULIA. So cute! We NEVER go to the movies at night- but, we went last night as a reward to ourselves! The movie was SUPER crowded and it usually makes me uncomfortable when you are crammed into the rows- with no space between you and the stranger. This one lady came in late- during the previews in the DARK- and walked all the way down the row, to ask the person at the end of the row if anyone was sitting there: and then she made the ENTIRE row move down- while it is DARK- so that she could get 2 sits RIGHT IN THE CENTER. I am like ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Who does that!?!?! If you show up late to the movie- you sit in the FRONT where there are seats. You do not distract EVERYONE and make people MOVE. ARGH!!!!
I sat next to this guy who was kinda odd with bad breath- who would laugh REALLY loud when no one else would. It was pretty funny.

Anyways, we had fun and I enjoyed the movie.

oh, another thing I did....well, I am like a facebook addict and it drives me crazy. for a few reasons. 1) I am friends with people whom I likely wouldn't really talk to in PERSON- just because I "know" who they are....2) this thing takes so much of my time, I need to limit this- so, last night, I went thru all my "friends" on facebook...looking for people that if I ran into them- I would actually talk to- and enjoy- and then, getting rid of the rest. It was like 1am when i was doing this- SO- I likely will have more to go thru. But, I hope this helps me limit my facebook usage....

What am I forgetting? MarriagePrep is seeming QUITE easy this time around. Maybe after 1.5 years of being the MarriagePrep Coordinator, I am actually "getting it" now? Nah, I just must be lucky this time- and people are praying heavily for me!

We did set up yesterday- things went smooth. Tonight at 6:30 we start- and I am looking forward to our 140 people. Hopefully the way we have set up payment tables, and check in tables will WORK for us! I have had no nametag issues, no certificate screw ups, praise GOD!

Last night, my wonderful husband came home from working late- and I had been working late too- when he walked in the door with flowers and "dinner for 2" from Central Market- It made my LIFE! THANKS YOU JAMO. I took pictures, which I will post later. But, I think dinner for 2 will be our new dinner forever from Central Market. CM- is like Whole Foods but a little less expensive- but equally delicious and organic.

Set up for my event is tomorrow. I am feeling calm cool and collected! I do the shopping tomorrow as well- which I love! :) Cause that involves SAM'S club- and who doesn't love that place?

I love the below picture. I think that the doggie is smiling and I am super happy as well! I love animals. Someday...I want animals, kids, and a garden. ahhh. But, for now I will stay in my huge city, with tall buildings. I forget what it is like to be able to look farther than like, across the street to the next tall building. I think I am feeling claustrophobic.

Life

Not sure what to write about. I have had a VERY busy few days! I am getting ready for my kids to move in to campus on labor day, so things at work have been busy- and then, to add on top of that, we have marriageprep this weekend. So far so good....not too much drama...so, i am hoping that things will continue on this path- say a prayer for me as I continue to get ready for the event this weekend. We dont have as many couples signed up- only about 130 people, which normally we have about 150-190. So, I am REALLY hoping that not everyone decides to sign up on THURSDAY. That would really REALLY be annoying- since I am done with nametags, certificates, and, everything else! Whew. Anyways...I can't believe it is nearly 8pm. I am just getting done working and feel like I need to get outside and take a walk or something.
I have to find time to do the voice overs for the show we filmed soon too! I realize that I just have to learn to say NO to some things during certain weeks. I just can't do everything. And it seems like everything happens at the same time- which is usually a bummer.

Maybe I will go enjoy a nice glass of tea now? That sounds good. OH- P.S I am REGISTERED for my masters class starting August 31. EEK. Here we go!
