court

I had my first appearance in court today. I had to go to a hearing on this stalker case. It was quite nerve racking. My boss, Randy, and best friend, Jamey, both came to the hearing as either witnesses OR support! :) We sat there for so long waiting and had to watch some other people thru their court case. ARGH! But, I am thankful that my PPO was granted. Now, stalker no more. And if stalker comes around, stalker goes to JAIL. So, I feel relieved, although, I found out that getting papers delivered cost $30 each time they make a delivery. I didn't know that- so that SUCKS. Why do I have to pay 30 bucks each time the papers get delivered?! So, 60 bucks down the drain, but for a good reason.

This weekend was FUN!!!! It started out on Friday night, my boyfriend took me out on a date that he planned fully by himself! It was a suprise, so he showed up at my door with flowers!!! And then we got in the car and he was like, i am driving, but not telling you where we are going, so we head north and end up in Lansing at a park! We walked on a trail and admired the tree's and the frogs...it was fun. I like doing stuff like that! Then we went to the mall, cause I wasn't quite ready for dinner at the unknown place.....SO, we went shopping, that was great, didnt buy anything, which was even BETTER. Then....to chilis!! my all time, favorite restaurant. :) I had a great time dating my boyfriend!! :)

Then, my mom came on Saturday and I cooked dinner for my mom and Jamos- Stuffed Cabbage rolls. they ended up being GREAT!!! And we went to the mall really fast to look for a shirt for my mom and I ended up buying a new pair of jeans, so that was good- sunday was church, subway, party for jamey, which was sad but FUN!!! :)

Good weekend!!!

new orleans

My heart indeed breaks for those who have lost everything in this hurricane. They have pain and they have nothing. My heart rejoices for those who are volunteering and donating and working for those in our nation who have had this happen to them. I love how our nation comes together! I love how although, this is a sad and horrible time, it gives us a chance to see how American's really do care about one another. I love that. It makes my heart rejoice to know that we can all get along.....

Anyways, off of that horrific subject, just wanted to say hi. Life is good, the freshman have moved in and now we are starting on the new class of seniors. Crazy. Today is the goodbye lunch for Jamey- she is leaving us and we are going out to eat....haha. kinda funny.

knitting

Let me tell you...I am learning to knit...and lately, my yarn ball has been getting in tangles...like...big knots...that take me like 15 minutes to undo only to knit for 3 feet and then ANOTHER TANGLE. So, I put it away to go to the craft store to get more yarn, cause it is on sale and I talk to the girl there about it- and I get home to realize the stinking stuff fell off the needle and now..I HAVE TO START ALL OVER. Good thing this is a 'winter project' cause, well, it is going to take a LONG TIME for me to finish.

So, anywhoot. I need to go grocery shopping cause I have NO food at my house to make a decent meal out of...Chex mix is fine for a while, but not so much for dinner and BREAKFAST.

:)

School is back in session today....bring it on!!!!

A girls best friend is her mother

This is on my calendar for the day and I enjoy that thought. It shows a mom and daughter making cookies together and it just reminds me once again how lucky I am to have such a wonderful mother who cares SO much for me. She is teaching me how to KNIT and I love that!! :) I knitted a little last night to relieve some stress of the day. Yesterday was a crazy day....never know when the crazy days are going to start.
